New member with brand new vibe

Post by luvndavibe »

Hey I love this site. I go to pick up my new 05 vibe gt tomorrow. Im Military and stationed in germany. Can't wait to get it on the autobahn with no speed limits. After I break in the engine of course. Any one know of any good roof racks besides Thule or Yakima.

Hey! Another person buying from overseas! Except I'm stationed in Korea and having mine delivered in the states next summer. I'm curious about the bike racks too...I'd prefer an upright rack rather than a fork mount...hate taking the wheel off. I'm a little concerned though because I'm hearing that the 05 Vibes don't have the crossbars, which is kind of an important part of making the rack usable.I'd be REALLY interested in hearing what you get for a bike rack and how it works on the 05.

Honestly, from what a lot of people have been saying on the forums, the 04 cross bars really did not have a function. They were too low to do anything Inder

I'm SO excited! I'm leaving work at noon today to drive home and pick up my new (well, 7600 miles used) Vibe! I found this site a few days ago when I found out I would be purchasing my Vibe--that I've wanted for a year and a half--and I've had a great time checking out the site all week! Thanks for the fun, and I know this will turn into one of my favorite sites!
