warped rotor

Post by russ257 »

ok when that pad cracked and i drove it with metal to metal contact for a while it warped the rotor i need new ones . i can get a wearever set for 50 bucks a bendix set for 120 a raybestos street tech series for 160 or the power stop set that is on here http://www.powerstoprotors.com/ for 170 my question is the wearever set is pretty cheap is it just a good deal or am i getting a crappy rotor. If it is crappy then there is a price jump. i would prolly go with the raybestos or quickstop. question is one really better then the other. anyone on here have any of there rotors and have advice.

I think I would go with slotted or cross-drilled rotors if I could afford it. You won't be dissapointed.

yeah i think you are right now the question becomes which one a new contender has entered the ring http://www.ebcbrakes.com/Automotive.html ebc i remember seeing an ad in a sport compact magazine. and tire rack has ebc rotors and pads for the vibe. http://www.tirerack.com/brakes...&y=17 they also have brembo but those are way more cash. so should i go ebc, raybestos, or quickstop
