Hi everyone. I just bought a 2005 Vibe. I also did have a 2004 before it was totaled by a person running a red light I picked it up last week and noticed many things missing on the 2005 that my 2004 had. But one item is confusing. My front window visors had the little plastic extensions on the visor on the 2004. My 2005 doesn't. I don't have side air bags on the 2005 - which according to the sales literature - which states that with no side air bags the extensions are standard. Since mine doesn't have extentsions (which I REALLY like!) - should I have got them as a standard item since I don't have side air bags?? I also have On-Star - so I am not sure if that makes a difference or not - but not mentioned in the sales literature. Thanks for any help any one can give. Missing from the 2005 or are different so far I have noticed from my 2004:1. Storage compartment on right side in rear near subwoofer is not functional - but there is a door that leads to nothing - that's odd!2. No extra power plug in the glove box - too bad! I used that in the 2004. Just a large hole there now.3. Lousy arm rest / glove box lid. Is inches lower so no longer an arm rest unless you want to sit slumped over - and missing is the extra little tray/drawer in this top to buy from Parts Dept? $240!4. Back of driver's seat no longer has really nice map holder that the 2004s had. 5. Luggage rack is not complete. No cross bars! You can buy them aftermarket for $350 from Pontiac. They did add other things though. But I sure miss these things. Thanks to anyone who can answer the visor extension question. Did anyone else get the extensions as standard??
not sure about that...going to the junkyard. That may work, but I suspect that it will be hard to find a wrecked Vibe (not sure what happened to my 2004! ) and if I do, parts like this are usually gone. PLUS, if this was supposed to be a standard item, why shouldn't Pontiac supply them? Jeff
