Have you already bought the short ram? A real CAI is a much better choice. Cold air=more HP.

That looks pretty big for a vaccuum line. Is it some sort of exhaust recirculation?

Why won't it fit? I have an 05 AWD and installed a cosmo CAI with no problems.

I didn't have that hose... Weird. From the manifold I think you have a base or AWD. I had one small hose that connected to the CAI but nothing that big.

FYIi just saw the hose, yuou dont use that hose at all is useless buy a small filter and install on the SR need to get rid of it ,you will get more torque less Hp ,CAI Longer travel cold air more hp ,on the CAI you dont use the nipple ,you supposed to put a vaccum hose on it but on the 05 dont come with one ,is the VSV that goess under the airbox 05 dont have it .all you have to do is get a CAI and install it just a little tricky on the airfilter. CAI nipple where the VSV supposed to go plug it no use for it.
