MagnaFlow Installed

Post by myredrs »

I got the Magnaflow Catback installed over the weekend. Awesome deep sound. Louder on the highway, but I guess I'll just turn the radio up a little more. Also, found out that the OEM tires are quickly dying. So now I'm on the prowl for new rims and rims.

I hope you didn't think that the catback was not going to be louder on the highway. Why else spend the money and time to put one on. Horsepower gain is so small that the idea is a cooler sound.

That is true about the sound. It is a much deeper, cooler sound.

Well it is a personal preference but on a chainsaw engine it would be great but for the money on a car engine it is too small of a hp gain. IMO. If I had wanted a car with more than factory performance or a car to hop-up the engine I wouldn't have purchased a Vibe and would have went with the GTO in the first place.
