I found the company that designed the GT-R Vibe and shot them an email a while back. ASC Incorporated. Fact is, the GT-R kit looks great, and the other kits available or TBA look like crap. This is what they had to say.Hello, and thanks for your interest in the Vibe...it's a project which is near and dear to my heart (ie. I worked on the concept development, and subsequent production parts to some degree). Unfortunately...I have no further information about production of the GTR parts. The concept was developed to guage consumer interest, and generate buzz in the vehicle, and as you know, certain parts have made it into production.... ASC is not currently in the aftermarket parts business, and would only produce the parts under contract from GM. I'll make sure to check out the forums/discussions (I'm sure GM'ers do, and read about production demand for the GTR) Thanks Bryan

I'm not into kits at the moment now that my Vibe is lowered but given the opportunity to get the GTR kit? I would pounce on that like a cat on a mouse lol. There is an interest in that kit, at least around here.

So they build the GT-R to build up consumer interest in the car....well if they NEVER make any styling kits that come close to the GT-R (which is what spikes their interest) Than why the h*ll would anyone buy a Vibe (asuming they buy it for the look of the GT-R). Personally it sounds like a bad way to sell the car, unless they believe in tricking someone into buying a car that wont ever look like what they wanted it to look like...we, however obviously got Vibes for other reasons but I'm sure you get what I'm saying.

(removed)??? if it's a concept car, then you tell us it's just a concept and will not be available for resale BEFORE we buy the damn thing!
I wonder if the GT-R kit would be available how much it would be... The sports package on GMpartsdirec.com is $1772.40 (primed) and includes the 2 spoilers. If you take out the spoilers subtract -$638.40 (the set is 638.40 primed) for a total of $1134 (expensive compared to aftermarket) for a bodykit. The GT-R would be more than this? I think so wonder how much.

The GM body kit is a TINY addition, I can barely notice it on other Vibes, I don't even think I've seen more than a couple with the body package...so if the current small one is like $1100 than that would make the GT-R one like maybe $4million since it includes full bumpers and such, plus it's made by GM so that would add another $300,000, AND shipping for $50,000.65, since they wont have it at the dealership. Alltogather I think we're talkin somewhere in the neighborhood of $4,350,000.63...about...(removed) HAHAHASeriously though I think it would be over 2grand easy. Now if we could some of these people that are making their own body kits to ACTUALLY produce them for use to buy, it might be cheaper.

At least for us who have a shadow Vibe we would have to purchase with no paint (primed) and more money to paint!! Other than that small detail the math seems about right.
