well, i finally got around to installing my body graphics from decalkits.com. they sponsored me this summer and i hadn't decided what or if i was gonna do anything. but i got these in last month and decided to install them today. unfortuantely, the snow cause the power to go out for a few hours so it took a little longer than i'd have liked. i tried to get out all the little bubbles as possible, but w/o the heat and power it didn't go as smooth. you can't tell from 3 ft away, but i can! still have to install the red outs from blue bat. and to make matters worse, my battery died and i had to call roadside assistance to jump start the car in the HEATED garage!!! here's the link to the photo album side graphics and just to give you a teaser of before and after!and a close up of the door... had to do a lot of creative heating and stretching for those pesky door handles!

well, today it rained all day to melt the snow away, but now it's doing some kind of slush thing outside. that'll be fun for driving to work in the morning in my dunlop z rated tires! but the more and more i look at the side graphics, the more i'm pleased with my choices. they are so subtle and not that noticeable, not flashy and bright like most. also finished the taillight red outs. posted pics in the red out thread, but i'll throw another here too.now i'm thinking about taking off the hood deflector since it doesn't seem to help that much (imo) and i think it also detracts from the nice smooth monotone look of the car. what do you think? take it off or leave it clothed? i took this pic this morning when i went to church. see, mom! i DID go today! ha ha ha! blue bat's red outs! look fantastic! i like the nice monotone look to the whole thing!
Snow already??? lol don't even mention that word until about November. Those redouts look sharp! looks like the lens came that color I just got my pontiac emblem overlays yesterday, I'll also have pics up here soon.Once again, looks great.

(Urge for Jr. High-humor remark repressed, with difficulty)Taking off the hood deflector would improve the look, IMO. It kinda disrupts the lines of the car at the front.Graphics do look good!

Looks GREAT Hope! I have thought for a while that your Vibe would LOOK much better w/o the bug deflector, but I figured its usefullness outweighed its appearance up there in AK. If it doesn't even work well, ditch it!!

I'd leave the deflector, sure the paint damage has been done but thats not to say worse damage could accure. Or just get what I have on the front of my Vibe.

oh too late now! besides, i'd have to repaint the hood first before i put that 3M clear bra on the car... which i think is a good idea... but i want to wait til i get the whole thing fixed to do that.trdvibe looks much better too. also took off my "hope" decal on the rear hatch. it was too hard to see around it. and i still have the 2 smaller ones on the rear side windows.
Hope, I like what you have done with side graphics I am considering doing the same to my 2003, but was unable to ID the graphic number.woud you send please?
TRDVibe is on vacation from here indefinitely. In the meantime, though, here is the page where the graphic she chose is at: http://www.decalkits.com/cgi-b...ripes
