Front Turn Signals

Post by BlackVGT »

So yesterday I went and replaced my front turn signals with Piaa 1157's, hoping to get the same desirable effect as everyone else using the silverstar ones. Anyways, the light up WHITE!!! Not amber, so I quickly ran to the store, got silverstars and they light up WHITE!!! Um, I looked on the forum and everyone elses lights up amber when they do this, (removed)??? Is there something Im not doing right?

What is the problem, exactly?

Rather, it's the BULB that is amber. Not the lens. You need to make sure you get the amber bulbs. The front lenses on the Vibe are NOT colored. Get the bulbs that are amber, or if the silverstars, you'll see a slight amber tint. Also, make sure they're the dual element bulbs, as the front turnsignals in the vibe are also the parking lights.

sounds like you got the wrong bulbs to me. Are the bulbs blue with a slight amber tint when you hold them in you hand?
