Seat belt Wiring diagram

Post by Psychovibe »

Does anyone know which wires need to be modified to remove the seatbelts and stop the dinger? Have race harnesses and don't need the car telling me "Seat Belt". Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks.

There are two wires on the latch part of the seat belt. You just need to cut either of these wires.

yes, it will trick the car into thinking the seatbelt has been buckled.

Man...I'm there. I hate that dinger too! I'll try that on the wires. Snip snip and the problem is gone!

Where exactly are these wires???? Looking down in the seat belt latch, all I see are metal parts. Are these wires under the seat? Or does this require removing the plastic cover to the seat belt latch? thanks!
