I saw Vibe winter mats at my Dealer, Plaza Pontiac Buick across from Yorkdale Mall in Toronto. They were asking around $65 for a set of mats. Though I can't remember if they were just front mats, or if the rear set were also included. Really good looking black heavy duty mats with the vibe and pontiac logo. Didn't bite though, just recycled the old ones I had from my previous car. They don't fit perfectly around the large dead pedal on the drivers side, but will do for now.

quote:they seem a bit thin to retain slush and water from our Canadian winters....Here in the States, we don't get snow like you poor Canadians so we don't need those mats. We Americans are just so ignorant to the woes you Canadians have to deal with in the winter. Prince of Controversy

I have the GM winter mats with the Vibe logo. I think they are really nice. They have a hexagonal grid pattern of individual compartments to keep the slush/melted snow from sloshing around. Some sections aren't as deep as others (mostly the ones that aren't flat on the floor...like the angled part under the pedals...I guess this is so that the slush drains down the the flat part). They were a little expensive, but they fit perfectly. I ponied up the dough for the front and haven't decided what I'll do for the back (if anything) since I don't get too many backseat passengers.

Just a reminder...I see lots of talk about Canadian winters...here in Vancouver we rarely get snow, and if we do it is washed away ASAP by the never ending rain!

The winter mats are awesome compared to the lightweight factory supplied mats.

I recently purchased a set of winter Vibe mats at my local Pontiac dealer ( Pace Pontiac). They are great, very heavy duty rubber with ridges on the side to catch all the winter gunk. They actually fit better than the factory carpet mats. cost $45 for the front. they have holes in them on the driver side to prevent slippage.you can check them out a the followibg web site they are part of the Active Package. they are available separately.http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/accessories ... vibeacsprv

Got from Walmart that aren't that bad. $3.50 per front mat. Seem to be doing the job and don't look that bad.
