Rest in peace poor little trooper!

Post by Mr. Poopypants »

Well, my final original Silverstar burned out today, it was the one for the driver's side fog light. It was in for almost 2 years. Has anyone tried using the lifetime guaranteed ones on Ebay??

Sir Poopy, I believe that you have purchased a defective Silverstar. Might I suggest you take it back and demand a refund - "somethin' is wrong with this thing man, it lasted me far too long." lol!Seriously though, that's pretty good life span! The 9006's I had did outlive my 9003's by a 3:1 margin. Too bad both fogs puked at the same exact time.

I have a post around here somewhere w/ side-by-side pics. IMHO, The ED's are actually brighter and cleaner than the SS's.EDIT: Here's a link to my thread http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=12506I posted it in the Exterior forum, since lighting was under the description
