POLL: Favorite fast food restaurant?

Post by kostby »

I SEARCHed and don't find that we've ever conducted a fast-food poll in Genvibe. Burger joints are well represented in my short list, but I'm not picky. LET 'ER RIP!(Here's a related thread and poll for sit-down restaurants:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=6382)

I voted for Burger King, because given the choice, I would always go for a Whopper.

i voted for jack in the crack. hardees has the best burgers i have ever had, but jack in the crack has shear variety. where else can you get bacon cheddar potato wedges, egg rolls, fries, tacos, cheesecake, pitas, burgers, chicken sandwiches, subs, fish...oh man, i gotta stop!!!

I voted for Wendy's mainly because the convenience of the one between work and home. Hardee's has the best burger, Wendy's has better fries though, McDonald's has good salads, Arby's is an excellent choice when something "different" is in order. Taco Bell is really good too, but there stuff is not portable - You gotta go in and sit down - who has time for that? And yes I've seen their latest commercials addressing this dilemma (chicken wraps or something), haven't tried those yet, don't think it fixes the problem though.TTFN

I added Pal's Sudden Service to the list, because they're just awesome. If you're ever in upper-east Tennessee, you MUST go eat at Pal's. Whenever the people we go to the race with come in from out of state, the first place they go is Pal's. Last year, they hauled major (removed) to get down here before they closed at 11 p.m., and made it by 15 minutes. Haha. All of that to get a tea and a chili bun.

Now in order to geta decent meal at a fast food place I gotta go to Macdonalds for their fries, Wendys for their burgers and either place for a soft drink.

Wendys seems to be leading the pack so far with 5 votes.I'm truly surprised no one has added Tim Horton's! We discovered TH on our summer vacation. Unfortunately the closest ones (for the time being) are in Michigan and Ohio.

How can I possibly be the only person that voted for In-N-Out?!! Has anyone had a DoubleDouble with grilled onions or an Animal?In-N-Out had a bunless burger LONG before the lo-carb craze....and if your a real carnivore, go four the 4X4.A friend of mine moved to Virginia a couple years ago and after 2 months asked me to pack an Animal with dry ice and ship it to him because he missed them too much. When my cousin came to visit from Costa Rica he said it was the best burger he ever had (so there is international appeal). What is wrong with you people? Wendy's has the most votes? j/k What other fast food chain has a line of cars waiting from the moment they open 'till the moment they close...no matter how many establishments they build...and they have one in Las Vegas.

They don't have In-N-Out Burger here on the east coast, but I heard somewhere that their bumper stickers are popular if you blank out the first and last letters in "burger"
