Yesterday I fianlly starter buildeing my own custom fiberglass enclosure. I did the 1st layer of fiberglass in the trunk....so there's a lot of work to do before having a new sub in my trunk.I'll keep you updated on my new project.
Is is not so bad for the 1st time I work with fiberglass.I'm very impressed by the sound it makes.I went from a 12" to 10" and the sound is simply amazing. It sound better, tighter and it cuts down rayttles by at leat 50% compared to my 12"!!!

Then you have to add some MDF wood parts, connectors, sand paper, brush, acetone, rubber gloves, masking tape, aluminium foil and lots of time and patience. And this does not include carpet or paint for finishing....And I forgot the most important thing: the speaker. So overall, without my time, it cost me over $250 (and I got the sub for 1/2 price on e-bay)...I doubt someone is crazy enough to give me $400 for this "thing"...

It is very hard to calculate thee internal volume in this box. But accoring to the sound it gives, if I'm not within the spec (0.5 to 0.9 cu. ft.), I'm very close.
