intake questions?specifically k&n

i just put mine on.did every one else get the extreme filter(filter element at the top)im calling tommorow to complain and im missing a hose clamp.i left my intake snokel in,did you?that bracket for the vsv does it just slide down on on that bracket seems a little loose.i dont here any clicking so thats where its gonna stay.besides the very load sucking noise at idle it sounds the same. its not loud like everyone says they are or is my stereo making me deaf
