Vibe 2005 (very first day)

Post by PopeyeFAFL »

I took delivery of my Vibe 2005 (base model, Fusion, Power package + Mags) yesterday night. It was late & dark when I left the dealership, so I just went for a small ride in the country side. The very first thing that I noticed was the driver position (higher than I used to be in my Honda Accord 1991, which I gave in exchange, I did not got much for it but it had 336500 km).Today, I had to resume my life = "going to work", I started parking at the end of my company parking lot (this way, I will avoid dents from other car since there is lots of spare room in the back of that parking). Now the fun thing, is the fact that bunch of guys while taking their healthy walk after lunch, gather around my car. When they come back, all of them did told me how nice it look, especially the colour which seem to create envy.As I was leaving the office, three more co-workers came to see me, for a demonstration of the cargo bay & the fun features. Looking at their smiles, they seem to like it (may not be the car, they need/want for different reasons, but they understand that for some people, it could well be the ideal car).As I park it into my driveway, my neighbour (which I almost never talk to, came to see my Vibe), his first comment was on the "beautiful colour".Not bad for a first day, isn't ?

I have had my vibe a month. I've had MORE comments about this car than any other new car I've purchased. It really attracts people!Robin2005 Salsa AWD Vibe

It continue...This morning as I put fuel for the first time in my Vibe, the cashier at the gaz station, said to me:"wooohh, "Orange brulée" (burn orange, I'm not sure of the translation), "this is hot, man !" (with a big big smile, a little bit of envy, LOL).

I'm new here as far as posting message with photos held on an outside server, so:Is there people here that managed to see these photos (this will at least tell me if I did that properly). Now for the people that cannot see these photos, I don't know what to say, since I let that photo album open for everyone to see (no password, no restriction, etc., public domain).
