hesatation on take off

Post by blk182@n7 »

has anyone had the hesatation on take off in the GT? I have taken off in a higher rpm range and it still does it but in the 5000 range the tires spin and no hesatation....after changing some parte it would go away but always comes back... could it be the gas?

it takes the engine a little bit to build up a vacuum which is why it hesitates before going, not sure how you can fix that tho

Hmm thats sucks..I just don't want to have the rpm's to high and just spin the tires...

I know you need to get racing slicks for high rpm launches and you need to get them really hot and sticky so they with get tractionUsually if you have it at about 3,000 rpms in neutral and the clutch is in a bit the lag isn't as bad and you don't burn out you just chirp a bit

if it's a vacuum issue, add a vacuum booster.
