You can try what Mike did, and mount it up on the windshield, or get a Pro-Fit mount which mounts to the right of the AC Controls.Physically having it screwed down might be the best option..

i like it closer than mikes so it can turn it by hand.i was thinking some kind of rubber isolator.wouldnt screwing it directly to the shaking dash make it worse. were can i look (buy) the profit one.

xmfanstore.com carries Pro-Fits. And the rubber would probably make it bounce worse, I would think. It would only enhance the vibration. Screwing it down will still allow it a little bit of shake, but if it's solidly screwed down, most likely it'll keep it minimal.

well i got the pro fit mount. pro fit my as* .it like the position of it and it stopped the shake.but they claim no modifications to the car.but you have to pull off the little chrome piece right of the climate controls and grind down the backside.so i did and it didnt fit right so i ground some more.no go.and some more, still doesnt fit.so i try a little off the side.still no fit. i grinded to much and messed up the piece and it still doesnt fit.they dont give you any screws for mounting except the three used to screw it to the dash and i believe these are to big causing the fitment problem(even though i tried it with no screws).25$ for a 3 inch square piece of metal and 3 screws.haaaaaa!!!!!!

I mounted my skyfi 'headunit' in the little rectangular tray in the front of my center console (manual trans.). I say mount loosely because the thing just fit right in there. I drilled a hole out the bottom of the console, and routed the power and signal wires underneath the shifter, and to the right, driver-side kick panel, where they meet the FM modulator. Looks like the darn thing was meant to be there. Only draw back is that sunglare sometimes prohibits me seeing the readout, and the parking brake kinda blocks a little too...but I liked the idea of a 'clean dash' moreso than being able to see the thing all the time.
