Post by retiredfields »

Anyone know the wiring diagram colors for the 4 speaker wires at the rear of the stock 6 CD radio? I want to tie in at the rear of the radio for a separate powered bass speaker. Thanks in advance......

I have the diagram, now which wires would I hook up to my amp for either a sub or a set of 6x9's in the rear? Do I have to split some existing wires?I don't want to lose the existing speakers and amp setup. That is, I want to add another amp. Thanks

You can just use some T-Taps on the rear speaker wires, or front, depending on what you wanna do. You shouldn't have to cut anything.

Forgive my ignorance but what are T-Taps???Would I put these before the factory amplifier (ie] the inputs to the factory amplifier) or after the factory amplifier? (ie] the output of the factory amplifier)Thanks for the quick reply....
