Hi all. I'm new to the forum. I just bought a Salsa Monotone and love the look. I want to put the Sport Appearance package on, but not the spoilers and in Satellite. I saw the silver on an Abyss and it looked great with the contrasting colors. Has anyone else seen this? Well, anyway, if I do, I'll have 2 spoilers that I won't need and was wondering if I did this would anyone on the forum want to buy them for less than the $522 gmpartsdirect cost. And by the way, here are the part numbers for the Sport Package Parts: Front Extension:12498400, Rear Ex: 12498401, Left Rocker: 12498403, Right Rocker: 12498402..at least according to Rick at P&G Chevrolet..and he says he can get them for me. I'll just do that if no one wants the spoilers, but it's still alot of $ and unpainted. And if anyone has a photo of a car (not silver) with a silver sport package, I'd appreciate a photo if possible to show my wife. Thanks.
well, if you do that, i would suggest that you have the rear extension custom painted. if the entire thing is silver, it would look wierd. i imagine you are wanting it to look similar to a 2 tone monte carlo? i've toyed around w/ this idea, except the opposite w/ salsa lower extensions and such. and if the dealer says he can get you individual parts, what would he charge for the side rockers? and would it be cheaper than the $1300 for the satellite package on gmpartsdirect?

The dealer, P&G Chevy in PA, says the Sat package is $1293.75. The Salsa package is $1742.83. The four pieces unpainted are Front-$327.50, Rear-$322 and Each Rocker $230, so $1109.75, so as you can see buying the whole painted package makes sense and just sell the spoilers....or just buy the rockers, which I am considering and have them painetd.
