So I get a call from my dealer tonight.Apparently when we worked out a final price and got to my desired monthly payments, they neglected to include my accessories. I would have put more down to cover the accessories in the downpayment, but they want me to pay for them seperately. So I've got everything in writing stating 300$ a month for four years will all my options, and these guys are now asking for another $700 tomorrow when I pick it up.I think they're jiggered. Should I just pay this, or fight it tooth and nail?
quote:they neglected to include my accessories. If they are stated in your paperwork, you do NOT need to pay it. If these accesories are the stuff like cargo box, special floormats, cargo liner, ect., some dealers give you the quote without them and then tell you to pay it on delivery. This is a sneaky practice that you do not have to put up with. If you never signed anything stating you were to pay an extra $700, then tell them to **** off! Go to another dealer, and don't feel obligated to buy when they do this stuff. It's their loss so hold it over their heads, and they may let it slide fearing you won't take it.. VERY IMPORTANT: Sales are slumped due to christmas season every year, so they are dying for sales! Make sure you are getting a sweet deal, or you are just giving away cash.
