Re: Removing door panels, help? (NSimkins)

Yeah, in the end I couldn't get it to come out. So i just removed the 3 screws, and took that panel from the door panel itself. After looking closely at the clip, it seems that on mine the tab doesn't fully release the clasp (perhaps poor install), but this solution works. Thanks

Removing door panels, help?

Hello, I'm working on another how-to, as i'm installing some mb quart components for my fronts in my Matrix XR. However, when I'm taking of my driverside door panel, i can't seem to get the wiring clip off. Did anyone else find problems with this? I found a small latch to push on the bottom, but can...

Re: Keyless Entry design... (rasermon)

I have a matrix xr, and it has a panic button. I'm pretty sure that every matrix (with keyless entry) has the button, and I think it's really weird that the vibes (which have the same system) don't have the button.

Re: 12" Sub Box and Amp Install Guide (Sub-Vibe-R)

Wow, those are great suggestions. I think tonight I'm going to move the fuse very close to the bettery terminal, and also flip the switch to control the remote lead. I would get a relay, but I don't really know that much about them. Which way would it be better to switch?

Re: 12" Sub Box and Amp Install Guide (Sub-Vibe-R)

Actually the switch is on the main power lead. My headunit has a remote lead, but I just wanted something that would let me directly kill power to the amp incase of some problem in the car, or a quick way to kill the bass, without the system (ie people in the car who wouldn't like it) And actually, ...
