Re: Last Nurburgring laps for my Vibe (bassplayaz06)

I got it up to about 125-130 in some of the straightaways and through the carousel I had it at about 60 which was definately about the fastest that I should have gone through that.

Re: (vibedrivermatt)

Spent about 8 hours cleaning my car inside and out and shipped it back to America. No more driving on the autobahn I did find while I was cleaning that there is a plastic piece in the driver's side rear wheel well that protects the fuel in-line. That was filled with several pounds of dirt and other ...

Re: (areles)

Wow, holy old thread!! I'm in the Air Force as an EOD technician (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) which is basically bomb squad. We're the people that take care of the roadside bombs and IEDs (same thing). Robots, bomb suits and lots of blowing stuff up. It's pretty cool and I've got to go all over the...

Re: Last Nurburgring laps for my Vibe (Feelin' The Vibe)

Thanks for all the comments, it really was an awesome day. On a side note, my SSBC brakes held up much better and had absolutely no fade the entire time and they are still good right now. My friend showed me a website which takes pictures of cars going around the ring and tries to sell them to peopl...

Last Nurburgring laps for my Vibe

So after having my Vibe in Germany for 6 years, it has taken its final laps on the Nurburgring. I ship it back to the states next week and had an incredible time today giving it quite a workout on the track. I went with a couple of my other friends (1 with a '04 WRX and another with an '04 VW R32). ...

Re: (A Psycho Martyr)

That looks pretty sharp, can't wait to see it installed back in. I was thinking of doing something like this but I can't figure out a good color to contrast with my fusion orange metallic.Keep up the good work.

Re: M&T Amp replacement (ws6rob)

Yes you can use those same speaker connections but I elected to just run my own speaker wire (of a larger guage) since that's what I felt like doing. I'm not really sure if it made any difference but it did make me feel good. So if you don't want to spend the time running new wires, you can just tap...

Re: M&T Amp replacement (ws6rob)

It is possible to do it this way however I would reccommend against it. If you do it this way, you'll need to get some special little boxes (can't remember the real name) that basically you put the speaker wire in one side and RCA comes in the other side. You can wire them up directly but you'll get...

Re: (ponta2147)

I'm not 100% sure but I have a theory which might at least get you started or close to the right solution. I do a bit of aftermarket stereo installation and from what I've found, typically there is an orange wire that goes into the back of your stereo. This wire is the input to tell the stereo light...

Re: (Wolfman213)

I have about 1/4 inch. The minimum wheel size is 17" which works out since I have the stock 17". I have to sell my winter set though which are 16s. They have an even bigger kit with 4 pistons I think which requires 18s.

SSBC Brake Upgrade

Hello everyone, this is my first post so I thought I would make it a pretty good one. I've had my Vibe for just over 6 years now and since my wife drives it I haven't had much oppurtinity to do much in the way of mods. Pretty much the only problem I've been having with the car is brakes, I've replac...
