My 2009 only have 61000 km in 3 years and 3 months, so it's still good for a couple of years at the least. I paid it off in 2,5 years (had a 6 years loan originaly). The car is very reliable and never let me down. It will need new tires next spring, but other than that, nothing is wrong with it. I s...
You can see in my signature.
I update everytime I fill up. Sometimes I wish I has bouth the 1,8L for gas millage... but I like how the 2,4L is performing.
No updates in a little more than a year, but the car is still looking the same. As reliable as usual, now at 60500 km and looking as good as new inside and out. Looks like it will never get the GT skirts I wanted to have installed when I got the car though. :( The Vibe won't see much upgrades in the...
I am at 60500 km (about 37800 miles) on my 2009 Vibe. Bought it brand new on Friday March 13, 2009. Yes the freaking Friday the 13th !!! Everything is fine with the car, still runs like when it as new. Besides the oil changes and recalls, it never went back to the dealer. Which makes the Vibe the mo...
Happy Holidays to all Genvibe members !We almost got a green Christmas up here in Quebec also. Thankfully we got a little snow this week and now have 2 or 3 inches on the ground. This is very ususual for us.
Yesterday I installed my winter tires on my Vibe. God my car looks sad with the black rims on... No snow yet this year, but it sure will come soon enough !
In town where I work their is a 2 tone Envy driven by a young lady. The car is not in very clean condition. It has the base hub caps, but it has Vibe GT badges on it.So, it it a GT with base caps, or a base with GT badges ? I would I know ?I personaly don't believe Envy to be a pretty color at all.
Outch ! Sorry for your loss.On the bright side, aside from the Vibe everyone is alright !Do you already know what kind of car will take the Vibe's place ?
Quote, originally posted by DressedInBlack »Congrats!!Now it's time for a new car. Thanks !I don't plan on selling the Vibe anytime soon. Now I am saving for a condo.Though, I almost traded the Vibe this spring for a Terrain or Equinox. The dealer called me as they were looking for used Vibe for the...
I used to have a MonChar.com account back when I owned my 2005 black Pontiac Pursuit. I then closed my account because of all the bashing and the fact that his site if now not what it used to be.Is anybody still on this site anyways ? Back a few year ago it was very popular, but now ??? I completly ...
I paid my Vibe off today !To celebrate, I will giver her another coat of Meg's ShowCar glaze and M26 Yellow Wax tomorrow. Even it she doesn't really need it... I'll post some pictures after.
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead. But... My 2009 Vibe 1SC is officialy mine since this PM !!!Bought it on Friday March 13 2009 with a 6 years loan. Now today after only 2 years and almost 4 months I paid the last 1913$ I still owed to the bank. Woohoo !On the other hand, my Vibe hit the...
Finaly removed the black steelies this on Saturday. Made sure the brakes were fine while the wheels were removed. On Sunday, I gave the Vibe a good bath (his first real bath since January...) then clayed with Meguiar's blue clay. Then on Monday, we got warmer weather. I polished the car using the new ...
I like my Vibe a lot !It's the most reliable car I've owned and the most fun to drive too. I ordered it exactly how I wanted it from the factory. 17'' non-chromed rims, sunroof, fogs, 2,4L, dark blue. I added the GT spoiler and exhaust tip.In the summer, I can wash it once or twice a week, wax it an...
A little update on my Vibe. Sorry I've been very busy this winter with work. The car is now at close to 44500 km. Still drives like new and no problem so far as well.But... I haven't had a chance to clean it since the last pictures... in NOVEMBER !!! Here is how it looks right now. I can't wait for ...
This picture was taken a couple of days ago at work. For once, the accountant drove his wife 06 base grey Vibe to work instead of his Venza. Mine is obviously the blue 09 and the 07 blue is the receptionist's car.We made fun of this picture in the office.
Carry, it was cloudy and not very warm yesterday. Thankfully I have access to warm water outside the house. Thanks to my dad. So I only washed and waxed. I skipped the clay and polish. This will wait till spring. Thanks for you comment.
I am a bit in late with the pictures, but I was waiting to have the car cleaned to post. With fall and road construction on my way to work, the car hasn't been cleaned in about 2 months...The Vibe now has 36850 km and still goes well. Almost traded it for a 2011 GMC Terrain SLE recently, but decided ...
I have an 09 Vibe 2,4L and don't have the XM radio. It was an option here in Canada as some other member already said. I have the longer antenna in the center for am/fm radio and the smaller one for OnStar.I too have the flat folding passenger seat.In Canada, I was able to order my Vibe "a la c...
Congrats !Still have a little more than 40 payments to go on mine. I paying extra each month as well. I hope that the car is paid for in about 2 years. This is my goal.
I got some hard plastic flaps on my 09 Vibe. They are not the expensive molded ones you see on the Pontiac website, but the package said "GM Accessories". I got them free when I bought my Vibe brand new, but I'm sure that they are not that expensive.
I don't really like chrome either.I am debating on having all the chrome trim on the front of my Vibe painted body color when I'll get the GT side skirts one of this days... I wonder how it would look...
Nice Vibe there. The 2 tones Vibe are pretty rare up here in Quebec. Since the refresh of the Vibe in 2005, Pontiac only sold monotone Vibe's in Canada. We do see some salvaged or imported 05-08 two-tone Vibes from time to time though.

The last time they took out my pedal (to insert the metal dime) the pedal got all screwed up and was actually much more dangerous than before since the pedal would accelerate on every little bump ...
Looks great Michelle !I'd like to have some parts painted blue, but I KNOW that I'll never do it. Right now, I'm debating about an intake, lowering springs, GT skirts... Everything may ever still a projet anyways...
Quote, originally posted by 09vGT » And its okay.. my Vibe has ALL KINDS of character marks.. Yeah, the interior plastics are very easy to scratch. Don't look at them for too long or they will scratch.
Good work Michelle, it looks very nice.I wish I had the patience to do those kind of painted mods.I will paint my calipers for sure when I'll remove my rims to clean them real good when I'm on vacation at the end of July.
No pictures...But this morning on my way to work when stopped at a construction light on the road.I was the third car in the line, the first being a 09+ dark red 1,8L Vibe and the second a 05-08 dark red Vibe. So 3 Vibes in row. Their was also another 09+ dark red Vibe further in the line. Thought i...
