What would be the difference in going with a 17? Also what about the TPMS should I make sure the alloys have that?

I found some used factory alloy rims from a 2004 Vibe and i am wanting to know if it will make a difference to my warranty etc on my 1.8 2009 Vibe if I put them on as they don't have the TPMS you are talking about. Does this matter or should i be only looking at rims that have this system? Thanks
