Diagnosis at a second delaership was: Fuel Pump Noise-Charecteristic of the Vehicle, no repair needed.

I finally had my vibe checked at another dealer and the diagnosis isthat its the fuel pump - "chareteristic of the vehicle".The diagnosis was made by the service advisor and not the mechanic.Does vibe have a noisey fule pump (I can hear it clearly when I idlebut not when I drive).

I turned to this forum after the dealer declared it normal.Am I right in assuming that you guys dont hear constant vibration noise from under the car while driving/idling.Thanks.

My new Vibe (@ 7 miles) has a high frequency vibration noisecoming from below the driver seat. I can only hear it when the engine is at low rpm. It is not a rattle. The sales guys claimed it was normal fuel pump noise. The servise guy claimed it was normal exhaust noise. If this is normal for vibe? ...
