so her old blown 1z auto, could not get a 2z just dropped in it?I hope my machanic knows this!

thought the gt was a super charged motor?will the 06 drop into a 04? or better yet a 2z from a 1 z

anybody else blow a 1z motor yet? my machanic is telling me that they have a 06 motor ready to go for it, is that the 2z? and is the Major diferenece between the two is the 1z G.M lower half with Toyota head and the 2z all Toyota? but i have also look at Chilton's online and saw that the value train...

just looking for someone that mite have done this already. seeing how bad it was and if there is anything i should becareful about, or any tips?I know I can get to it from the back seat and thats realy good and easy but should I look out for anything?

right but its like its was not getting or was low on oil, i know that its not,but that's more like the noise I'm hearing, although it doesn't get faster or slower, only louder and softer. so far the best i can say it right at 1000 after just bumping the gas it will stop making that noise all togethe...

no its alot more then that, i hear those but there is still something more. the best way I could discribe it is a lifter or rocker arm that is car does not have.

now that i have taken the valve cover off and know that there are no lifters or rocker arm or anything, has anybody ever had fuel injector that would make a noise that would make you think it was a lifter or such?

got one or more of them and not getting much help from anywere i look, even the on line chiltons book that i got. are they adjustable, or are the a solid lifter. anybody know?
