'09 Vibe 1.8L winter tires and rim

I am looking to buy winter tires and rims for my 1.8L '09 Vibe. I have done some research and want to go with 15" rims with 195/65R15 tires. Can someone confirm this? Are '09 Vibe rims any different from previous years? Can I use rims that fit 03-08 Vibe or Matrix? Thanks.Jack

Can I use VW195/65/R15 winter tires with steel rim on my '09 Vibe? They both have 5x100 bolt patterns but I don't know if there is anything else I need to know.

Re: (WaveAction)

I'm looking at this '09 standard transmission Vibe with 1SB package. $850 below MSRP. About $900 dollars worth of admin and government imposed fees on top of it. About $23K tax included. Reasonable deal?jack

clutch issue

I am looking to get a '09 Vibe with a standard transmission. The salesperson (who tried to sell me an automatic) mentioned that the Vibes have a problem with their clutches wearing out prematurely. I did a search and found some old complaints. Is this still a problem with newer Vibes? Thanks.Jack

Re: (MountainMax)

Are you sure, MountainMax? On GM Canada, the base price $15995 excludes freight ($1160). I will go test-drive one tomorrow. Jack

Re: (MountainMax)

On GM website, the base model for a '09 Vibe is $15995. Is the $500 rebate already applied? I am thinking about getting the '09 Vibe with 1SB option. Can I get it at this price: $18995 - $500 + freight + tax? Thanks.Jack
