I bought my 09 Vibe based on looks... stylish, for a younger corwd, kinda mini SUV_wannabe... and I'm female I couldn't care much less about HP, engine size and the other stuff that's in there.
Re. the cruise symbol vs. 'CRUISE'... I vagely recall reading somewhere that it's one way in the US and the other way in Canada... and maybe the use the same manual for both? I'm in Canada and I have the cruise control symbol that was originally referred to in this post.

The key in the photo looks identical to the one I have for my 09 Vibe. When I got my key at the dealership the sales guy actually said it's the same key as the Toyota.

Hello -I got my 2009 Vibe a couple of months ago, always drive with the lights on (as in always on, not automatic on), but have also noticed that this automatically dims the clock. This makes it cirtually impossible to see what time it is during bright daylight... there has to be a way to get around...
