2009 Vibe GT Head Unit Replacement Expected Issues

I been debating replacing the HU on my Vibe for several years now, but due to no bluetooth and both control knobs broken like lots of other people I am looking at doing a replacement. What kind of issues can I expect dealing with the factory amp and speakers just replacing the HU? I am fine losing O...

2009 GT Monsoon ID3 and Radio Text no longer displaying

Two days ago, the ID3 tags and radio text will no longer display on the main home screen on the factory radio. I can still bring it up with the display button, but info is no longer display while on the main screen. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Anyone else dissapointed with the 09 Monsoon sound? (kunkstyle)

It looks like a 6.5 to me, but dealers and reviewers on the internet claim a 8". How hard is it to remove the trim covering the sub?

Re: Anyone else dissapointed with the 09 Monsoon sound? (DarkVibe)

I wish you could adjust the sub volume by itself. I know it is only a 50W 8", but most receivers today include sub volume control.

Driver's side seat

I understand that the factory amp is under the passenger side seat, but what is under the driver's seat in a 09 gt?

Re: new 2009 has all kinds of pops and rattles coming from dash (ricktherocket2001)

Mine started to rattle after 700 miles. I fixed it by pulling out the plastic part of the gauges. After I reinstalled the part, everything has been fine.

I range about 20 in the city to 32.3 on the highway with max A/C. I drive over 70 on the highway. A good place to look for fuel economy and track your own is https://www.fueleconomy.gov/mpg/MPG.doMy 2009 Vibe GT auto is the only one listed in KY under the shared MPG.

09 Vibe Gt Auto Trans
