thanks for the reply. i feel a bit more comfortable i think. few more question though. would adding my aftermarket amp make the speakers any better/louder/crisper... if so i might do it. and if i completely take out the stock amp, would my tweeters then not function correctly?sorry for all these que...

well no they wont fit in it. just like in the dakota, im going to make some frames out of plexiglass to secure the speakers. they are 6.5 inch 3ways.
