Smoother ride please

I have an 09 2.4 L base model with 17s and the ride is so rough. I'm too old to be feeling every bump in the road. My old 2004 was so much better. I just took a trip down to the states (speed limit 75 mph). My fuel mileage was between 32 - 35 mpg (Imperial gallons - not US). I was doing between 80 - 85 mph most of the way with air conditioning on. Since getting home, I've been getting around 36 mpg - combined city/highway. It's kind of disappo...
