Wondering how many miles folks are getting on their water pumps. I got 164K on original and wondering should I replace it for preventive maintenance or let it be?

The converter box under driver's seat got wet, since then converter doesn't work and airbag light is on. Is there any wiring for the airbag in the converter box? If not, where under the seat is the wiring for the airbag?

I had a mishap two days ago. Slid off into a ditch with standing water, water came into the cabin.Since then the air bag light keeps blinking. Water related or else????

I got really tired of the low air output of the a/c. So I removed the filter. Now getting about 2X the airflow. Much cooler. Anyone else done this or had dissatisfaction with the a/c? Other than that satisfied with the Vibe.

My plan is to change the filter at 5K and the synthetic oil at 10K. I know at the Click and Clack site they recommend 5K for conventional oil. Shouldn't synthetic oil last 10K???

I have decided to make the switch to synthetic oil. Advance Auto Parts has a special 5 qts. of Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 filter for $26.98 + TX.

I just purchased a 2003 2wd and it gets a combination Hwy/City which driving around Denver is, at 32.5 MPG. I also don't drive like a type A, you know, the ones who have to beat you to a red light.

The book says 5-30 which I'm assuming they are reffering to dino juice. Seems most of what was on the shelf at the local parts store was 0-30. Should I look for a synthetic 5-30 or is the 0-30 just fine?

That might work as well. Rear seats will be kept down, so this and additional mat to cover the rest of the cargo/rear seat area in combination could work.

I'm going to do a lot of hauling with work tools and dog kennels. The rear seats will be folded down 99% of the time and looking for a mat of some kind, waterproof, that will cover the entire cargo area with the rear seats folded down.

I have just purchased a 2003 Vibe from out of state and listed are "roof rails". I would be VERY interested in cross bars. Anyone have some that will fit a 2003?
