Re: 06 vibe my stereo is dead, but lights, clock and disk eject still work?? Help (cvloss)

The symptoms you describe are actually reverse of what happened to me and most others with the stock radio in those years. I have on 05 and had the original radio replaced because the bulbs in the radio blew. The replacement did the same thing. The radio still functions but you can't see parts of th...

intake manifold cleaning

I took off the IM and the rad fan so I could keep the skin on my knuckles taking the starter off. I'm glad I did because it could use a good wash. Are there any restrictions on what I can use to clean it?

Re: Replacing batery on 2003 Vibe, anything special????? (imabeliever1)

I have an 05 vibe and put an Orbital spiral battery in. It is the best battery I've ever had. Re: pulstar plugs (coldmm803)

I am about to install a set of Pulstar Plugs. To see any performance/efficiency improvements, you have to wait for the ECU to adjust to the new plugs. Sometimes that takes 2-3 tanksof fuel. You can speed that process by disconnecting the battery - which resets the ECU. That being said, the test resu...

Re: Radio problems (02csnow)

I have on 05 and the radio did the same thing. Dealer replaced the radio and a few months later - that radio di the same thing. My heater/AC controls also started to act funny - with the fan not coming on unless you turn it to 3-4 - and the AC light not coming on for the same reason. I replaced the ...
