I would highly recommend using a Rain Away application. Rain drops will shear away at high speed. I always put on a application before a long road trip. Saved me a lot of worry when I was traveling the Interstate through Tennessee in the middle of a supercell that was producing Tornados nearby.

Old advice was to adjust your side mirrors out to where you see just a bit of your side panels in the mirrors. New advice since there no way your side panels are going to hit you , is to adust the mirror out further to eliminate the blind spots.

Isn't there an aftermarket backup lights bulb that have a built in back up alarm. I think I remember seeing them at Crappy Tire, but I'm not sure whether it is compatible with the Vibe backup bulbs.

From what I have heard, the private company that owns the 407 has no juristriction outside of Ontario to make people pay. For anyone interested, the Mind Games store in the Downtown Toronto Eaton Centre, Level 0 across from the food court has the above model of the Vibe GTR in stock. It has both rear spoilers, skirt package and moon roof. It all yours for $50 + taxes. Also had a light blue Matrix XS in stock.
