The 300Z was one of those cars I really, really wanted back in the mid-to-late 90's. They are still super sexy IMO. My uncle actually had a cream-colored one at one point.

In this situation, I personally would do one of 2 things. 1. Buy a re-pin kit, and cut off the damaged sections of the wires so they aren't exposed, then crimp on new connectors and re-pin them into the existing plug. (this might not work depending on how much wire you actually need to cut off, beca...

I will add that I *really* wanted a head unit that had a knob to adjust the volume, so it could be attenuated without looking. The models with that feature were much more expensive, so we caved on that requirement. One of the reasons I refuse to "upgrade" from my current Kenwood DDX470 I ...

Unfortunately, no, it won't. Because the 12v "lighter" socket isn't connected to the system unless the key is on, trying to charge the battery with a solar trickle charger via that socket won't work.

Do you mean physically pulling the tires off the rim then re-mounting new tires? Considering you're asking that question, I'm just going to assume you don't have access to a tire-mounting/balancing machine. Just let the pros do it.

So can I also assume that when you open the door, you get the "key-in-the-ignition" chime? If that's the case, sounds like the sensor in the ignition cylinder is jammed in the "key-in" position. Might try spraying a tiny amount of lube in there, similar to WD-40 in the ignition c...
