Unfortunately, no, it won't. Because the 12v "lighter" socket isn't connected to the system unless the key is on, trying to charge the battery with a solar trickle charger via that socket won't work.

The 2003-2008 Vibe/Matrix didn't come with OEM smoked glass. If they are dark, it's an aftermarket film that has been applied.

Do you have a sunroof? Even if you don't. the wiring for one might still be there. If so, you'll have a definite switched 12v source.
