Well, what I am getting the "half screen" look on the lcd. I talked to a dealer and they told me that the lcd's on those radios are rather sensitive and have been known to mess up with just the slightest pressure or jarring. He said it could be the ribbon cable that connects it to the boar...

I checked the harness last night. It was plugged all the way in. I even unplugged it and plugged it back in just to make sure.
