thanks for the responses guys, does anybody with a similar car experience the same kind of windup before shifting? Also, does the ecu adjust for the type of driving that you do - spirited vs mileage-conscious? I find that also i've done the DBW reset to mixed results.

I recently had to have a courtesy car - vibe got crunched, and i was given a corolla. I was quite surprised to find that it was much more spirited than my vibe - it had much crisper shifting and was definitely faster! I was a little taken aback by this. I had always assumed that these two cars share...

Also, further to this, I had the car in on warranty at the local gm dealer and they had the dash apart 3 times. They were really quite hopeless.

I get a buzzing on acceleration either near the drivers' side(left of steering wheel) or near the radio and i can usually minimize it by pushing the dashboard on the drivers' side ...

Hi fellow vibers. I have owned my vibe for three years and I find the ride quality a little jittery. I realize small cars tend to ride a little harsher, but has anyone modified for ride quality? ie. different shocks, etc.
