Spoke to the dealer and a reputable tire garage, they have NEVER heard of this problem! The stripped lug will now have to be cut off, possibly damaging the wheel. Aftermarket cost of wheel, $190, with total bill approaching $300! Manager at Sam's Club says they will pay bill, update everyone soon.

I recently had my tires rotated on my 2003 Vibe, 165000 miles @ SAM'S CLUB. Guy stripped 1 lug and had a lot of trouble removing the lug nuts. He said they were swelled and that this was a common problem with Vibes. Anybody heard of this ?????

There seem to be no driveability issues, noises, or loud exhaust. Any ideas on a price for a cat? Also will it pass NYS inspection with this CEL on???

The car is running fine, but the inspection is due at the end of the month. Will it still pass with the light on?

It is a base model, with 110,000 miles. There is no noticeable change in performance since light came on. At Autozone they said their machine couldn't give a code if it was an emission sensor.

I have a 2003 Vibe with front wheel drive. My check engine light is on. I went to Autozone, they told me it was an emission sensor--but were unable to determine which one! They reset the light but it came back on after a drive cycle. I don't want to go to the dealer, any ideas?
