After some research decided to let the trans pros r&r the trans, got 3 yr 75000 mile warrenty, best I could find. So now time to work alittle ot and get it back on the road. Thanks to you guys for the posts!!

Thanks for the reply, been feelin like mine was the only ride that the tranny ever went out on. Is yours an AWD ? Did you r&r the trans yourself, and where can a guy find out about upgrades for this trans? Lastly the super charger looks tough, bet it is hard to keep your foot out of it!!

I have a 03 vibe awd with 117000 miles on it. Car is at the trans shop where they say it needs a new/rebuilt tranny at acost of 3500.00. Has anyone replaced one of these on there own?Thanks for any help or advise.
