Re: Dome light help

OK - here's the light: http://www.kudzufiles.com/otherpics/vibe_domelight.jpg The switch mechanism goes on the far right. And here's the two parts of the switch that fell out: http://www.kudzufiles.com/otherpics/vibe_domelightswitch.jpg I've looked and can't find anything else that looks like someth...

Dome light help

I was changing the LED in my dome light (2006) when the plastic switch fell out of the light. There was also a small spring that fell. I can't figure out how they go back in - something should be holding the switch tight against the light body, but I don't know what. Was there maybe another piece th...

I like that! And the price looks good, I may just go with the Hankooks.

Re: Looking for new tires

I should have added that I don't need summer and winter tires - here in Mississippi, we don't have to worry about snow and ice. If we do get that stuff, we just stay home!

Looking for new tires

I have a 2006 base Vibe with 98,000 miles. Tires are the standard 205 55r16. I'm on my second set of Goodyear Eagle RSAs - these have about 48,000 miles on them, tread depth of 3/32. One tire is a Cooper Lifeliner GLS, because I tore up a tire and couldn't get another Goodyear at the time, that tire...

Re: Another P0171 question (j1yuan)

[QUOTE=j1yuan]P0171 shouldn't be caused by O2 sensor according to this web page at RepairPal.com --> http://repairpal.com/OBD-II-Code-P0171-and-P0174That's pretty much what the repair guy told me. Since I've cleaned the MAF sensor three times now, is it time to consider replacing it? How do you know...

Another P0171 question

I've had the P0171 code before on my 2006 Vibe. The first time, the O2 sensor was replaced. A couple of months later, the CEL came on again, and this time (different mechanic), I was told it was probably just the MAF sensor needing cleaning. They did so, and everything was fine for several months. I...

OEM antenna

I had to carry a bed footboard on my roof rack the other day, and drove off with the antenna unscrewed and rolling around on the roof. Local dealer wants $32 for a new one - is there somewhere I can get one for less?

2006 Vibe: aux input?

I recently bought a new 2006 Vibe, from a dealer who had just recently taken over the Pontiac line. Meaning, they couldn't answer some of my questions. One is about the radio - it has an Aux button, but I can't find an aux input. Is there one, maybe on the back of the radio? Also - they said somethin...
