Well, Pep Boys and Autozone don't want work done in their lot either, but that doesn't seem to stop anybody. Seriously though, you could probably find a nice empty office parking lot on the weekend to do a quick oil change if you wanted.I've been keeping an eye out for a place that has a deep culver...

Re: The Wal-Mart experience (zionzr2)

Heck, you could always go to Pep Boys or AutoZone and change your oil in the parking lot. That's apparently how they do it in my hood at least. I've actually seen people install radiators and brake rotors outside the store.

Poor man's "lift", anybody brave enough to build one of these?

Saw this on a website, thought some of you might enjoy. Would like to hear about it if anybody actually builds one.Ramp Pithttp://www.classic1800.com/ramp-pit-plans

Some of the links appear dead unfortunately. Here's a condensed list of the active links that I could find, all for the 2003 Matrix.2003 Matrix Service Manual (HTML Format) http://www.absoluteingenuity.n...nual/2003 Matrix Wiring Manual (HTML Format)http://www.absoluteingenuity.n...nual/2003 Matrix ...

part number for center console (dash) AC button?

On the center console plate to the left of the radio I have a button for AC and another for recirculate. There's a third "fake" button below that. People keep asking me what the button does. I figure I should make it do something. Anybody have a partnumber for those oval buttons? Thanks.
