Re: FS: 2009 Vibe GT (knightrace)

Outside of some front end paint chips from highway driving, there is nothing wrong with the car at all. No dents, interior stains, etc. It is 100% good to go. I have mixed emotions about selling it. Like everyone here, we all know the quality of these vehicles. I have my eye on a low mile 2006 Lexus...

odd random noise from front of vehicle?

I have been hearing an odd sound for the past few months. It is very random and it may go a day or so between occurrences. Obviously, it is kind of hard to describe the exact noise, but it is low pitched, lasts about a second and a half, changes frequency during the occurrence, and almost sounds lik...

Re: (Sublimewind)

I did change the pads about six months ago, and while I don't notice any pull when braking or brake dragging, it does make a squeak when I initially press the brake pedal. It would be easy enough to inspect the pads and grease the caliper pins.I will check them Thursday evening and post what I find....

Re: (Sublimewind)

I have inspect all of the tires for bulges, or divots. In fact, I have rotated the tires around to isolate one as being bad with no luck. Also, I have balanced all four tires twice. Southern environment here. No mud or snow, just highway driving with occasional rain.I have not check the alignment, b...

Steering wheel oscillation.

I have a steering wheel oscillation on my 05 vibe. I can feel it at any speed, but it becomes less noticeable at higher speeds. At low speeds, I can feel the wheel being pushed counter clockwise and then released. Thinking it might be a tire issue, I rotated front to rear, but the oscillation remain...

Re: (coldmm803)

Well this takes the cake. I removed most of the dash a week or so ago while still chasing the noise. No luck. Finally, I ran out of time and had to put it back together. This weekend I was searching for a pair of sunglasses under the front seat and found a quarter resting on the module mounting brack...

05 Dash Rattle

My Vibe has just turned 39k and a rattle started almost over night. It seems to come from behind the instrument cluster or just the left of it. It sounds like a loose piece of metal or two pieces of metal vibrating against each other. I took the cluster out, the center trim and left trim off and the...
