Re: (engineertwin2)

Thanx for the info. Agreed, it's not a good idea. I was next in line at my usual gas station with my tank door open. While moving up to the pump the service attendent took the cap off and he started filling up my tank. Just at that moment the engine was trying to stall. I guess being that I frequent...

Tein s-tech and alignments?

I have been getting conflicting answers from all different people (mechanics). I have tein s-tech springs and kyb gr-2 struts that I want to put in but I keep getting told that I need (don't need) a camber kit to align after putting in new struts and springs. What is (if any) the right answer?

I'm replacing my struts (w/KYB-GR2) being they are worn and figured it is a good time to buy lowering springs. I'm trying to figure out if the Tein S Tech springs with just over 2 inches of drop is to much for the KYB-GR2's that I'm installing. Also, not 100% sure Tein is the right way. Any input wo...

Re: Horn not working. (CAN-AWD-VIBE)

Put new leads on twice and swapped relays. I even put the relay that runs the horn into a different jack and all the items associated with it work fine. I have taken notice that my lower portion of my steering wheel (horn) does not move very much when pressed.

Re: Horn not working. (ragingfish)

Yes, I put new leads on the wires. After I did that they worked intermittently. About a day after that they would not work at all. When you pushed the horn the relay would click but no sound. I am not really wanting to pay a mechanic to fix this... $$$$$$$$$$$$

Re: Horn not working. (CAN-AWD-VIBE)

The compressor is fine... It blows and the horns make a very loud tone (as they are suppose to) when connected directly to the battery.

I have had this horn on my car for alittle over 3 years and no problems. I was just checking to see if anyone has experience...

I have an aftermarket horn (wolo) and it stopped working. I checked air compressor, fuse, relay, and all are good. The only thing I can think of doing next is removing the airbag and checking the contacts or whatever is behind the airbag. My question is how I remove the airbag without causing them t...

03 shifting soleniod

My 03Vibe, when coming to a stop the RPMs would go from about 800 up to about 1000 and then back down to about 800. Some times it would do it 2 times before I made a complete stop. The check engine light took about 2 weeks before it came on so the dealer would do nothing. I took it to a pontiac deal...
