Hi Jolt, many thanks for that link, I will take some measurements from the top mount and try to work out the thickness needed for a 1" lift, them make spacers here, I'm surprised they are made in Moscow and exported.

Here in Kano we have rough roads and Mrs B often scrapes the front plastic bumper, a little raise in the ride height would be welcome, I suspect you people in the US can buy slightly longer springs to do the job properly, here in 'the middle of the back of beyond' no way, anybody done this and knows...
I have found a lot of Chinese inferior copy parts on the market here in Kano, all very frustrating when you are replacing parts bought just a few weeks ago that are falling to bits and being replaced by better parts stripped off scrap cars being broken, both front suspension ball joints have failed ...
Having found so many things needing fixing at the front, I thought it time to look under the back end, and found the rear shocks shot and needing replacement along with rubber mounting bushes, so another job done, it does keep me occupied

More work has been done, replaced blowing exhaust manifold gasket, replaced leaking R-H shock absorber, replaced cut rubber CV joint cover, replaced damaged engine rubber mounts, that was my Christmas holiday and now back to work again.

Too bad the history of the car isn't known, whoever abused the car like that shouldn't be allowed to touch another Hi Joatmon, The saga continued on the left side suspension, before I had...
Hi I bought my wife a Vibe, who only passed her driving test in June this year, it's a 2010 FWD auto 2.4Lt, it mostly looks in good condition, no accident damage and only a couple of small scratches, it is a US import to Nigeria and I had no idea of its history, so first thing replace auxiliary driv...
Hi, looking for parts interchange information from the middle of the end of the world, where we have a surprizing number of Vibes and Matrix (is the plural Mistress or Mattress) I have been offered a spare CV joint that fits up to 2006 1.8Lt Matrix/Corolla but can't find any mention of it fitting 20...
