Thanks for responding. When the engine is off, the shifter goes like the first pic you have (5 spd original). So, I’m just confused because there’s a stamp of c60 on the tranny casing when I bought it. What do think that happened or done wrong? Thanks again.

I hope your issue is solved w the cv axle. Btw, when you swapped 5 into 6 spd, what else needed to change beside the tranny it self? Will 5spd clutch work on 6 spd? I really appreciate your help. My c59 tranny went kaput on me.
