I read in the new Modified Mag that they are pulling out in excess of 1000+ hp out of the ECOTEC engine. Supposedly John Lingenfelter(sp?) is going faster with that 4 cylinder engine than he did with the V-8 by a tenth of a second and 4 mph faster. And that was before he changed to the Cavalier body...

When they built 3 F-1 pilot cars, they came off the assembly line at 225+ hp according to the Jan/Feb Neon Notes from the assembly plant.
