Rear Bottoming out

I am happy with the stock height of my vibe, but I have a problem with something dragging in the rear when I have two adults in the rear seat when I exit my steep drive and go onto the flat part of the drive. What would you suggest to beef up the rear suspension so it does not drag when loaded heavy?

Vibe Missing at Texas State Fair Autoshow

At the 2006 Texas State Fair Autoshow Pontiac had their vehicles displayed, but no Vibe or Grand Prix. Salesman said Grand Prix was being discontinued after this year, so they were just not advertising it. He said Vibe was left out because of lack of room, but they had two Solstice cars. Vibe was al...

Re: Daytime running Lights (Wescyde)

Engaging my parking brake does nothing to my Daylight Running Lights (DRL), is it supposed to cut them off while on?

Re: My Vibe DRL

Another reason to date Daytime Running lights and automatic headlights - Drive -in movies - evertime you start your car you blind the row in front of you. Also on cold winter mornings I would like to be able to go into the donut shop while my car is running without blinding everyone in the shop.

Re: Mud Flaps/Guards other than Grey in color - painting

The grey ones are the only ones GM sells. I painted mine with the Krylon Fusion paint (satin black). After a month and several automated car washes, no scrapes or flaking. They look great. I did have alot of trouble installing them, You do have to take off the rear wheels. The little plastic expanab...

Re: Bug deflector? (Salsa!)

I located a distributor of Formfit hood guards (bug deflectors). The product is made by Focus Auto (www.focusauto.com) 800-419-5103 in Canada and you can order from them, but shipping is high to the states. In the states you can get it from Central Automotive Distributors at 800-687-2090 or 303-752-...

How did the painting of the splashguards go? I agree Grey is not the best chice, they should make it in black for the mono owners.

Re: Rear Bumper Protector? (bonedaddy_3)

For my 2004 Vibe I got a 2003 Matrix step pad. Part # 00012-09000 for $39 at Toyota dealer. This one goes on the edge of the bumper, overhanding the lip and is a hard plastic. I did not want the Vibe kind which goes only on the top of the bumper. See the attached picture.

Rear bumper protector

I wanted to protect my rear bumper of my 2004 Vibe, but the chips were occuring at the edges of the bumper and the protector the Pontiac dealership sells was flat, for the top of the bumper. I found that Toyota had just what I was looking for. It is the Matrix Step pad for the 2003 model. Part No. 0...
