Thanks. It was my wifes idea.. I also like the way they look. From what most people have said here and the VW forum it looks like they should just swap right over. volkswagen bug rims

So my wife is set on getting some VW rims for the Vibe. They put them on the bugs.. too lazy to look on VW forum right now but I think they're just the "montee carlo" rims with inserts. I've done a little looking in the past and I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is the same. But I think VW ...

Oil leak!

I have a oil leak from the drain plug. I just did a oil change, made sure everything was on as it should be and it is.Should the plug have some kind of gasket? It started doing this over the past few weeks. I've changed the oil every time from the day we got the car myself and don't remember the plu...

I'm not sure if this is the regulator, because the window will still work it's more off track then anything, will roll up and down but it's out of place and won't really shut right until I grab it by hand and put it in place.I'll take the door panel apart and see what the deal is and then get back w...

Yeah! $40 for the K&N and 15 minutes of your time. I'm sure it's pretty close to the CAI sound without any of the negatives: price, water, bad idle? I've read some stuff in the past about CAI kits on the Vibes messing with idle.. after removing the air box I could guess why.. that thing has 6+ s...

I thought it out a little. Made sure I wasn't doing anything real dumb, well from what I could tell. The air enters the box from the stock intake tube from the same location, the lower half, under the filter. I'm guessing putting holes on the upper half of the intake box would be a bad idea, because ...

Idle when in warm up

When first starting the car, the car will rev and sit around 3K RPM, and never idle down.. All others cars I've driven have started up with a high idle, then dropped down to a normal range after a few minutes. Is this normal for the Vibe? if so, why? Thanks,Nicholas

Is it normal to have a 15 second pause, before some of the interior lights come on? The auto-map lights next to the shifter, and vac control lights?I don't remember this before the wreck.. but maybe it's something I didn't notice. Thanks,Nicholas
