Umm, yea, so weirdness.... I must say my starting problem is fixed, but now my car smells like rotten eggs-- what gives? I Usually notice it right after getting out of the car after it had been running, or when I start it and it was already hot. I must admit I'll tolerate the smell as it's much bett...

I would tell them to look into cases that it wasn't fixed with first PCM replacement. I believe it should be documented, some sort of PCM revision. Not positive though, worst case scenario is calling into the executive office and finding out who can get the correct part ordered and sent to your deal...

I notice the rev too, however, my car always does that when cold, and never did w/ hot starts, and when it was difficult to start it would flutter at a less than normal rpm for a couple seconds. For the record though, I have a few 05' Corolla's around, none with the starting issue, and all do the li...

Has started everytime so far, and definately faster. My car always gave me trouble in very hot/humid weather, and this week has been very atypical.. cold/wet, I won't be completely convinced until it does it's good a week or so. Performance didn't change in mine, just a noticable change in starting ...

I still haven't got a call from my dealer about my magical repair. Thank god they doubled my warranty on electrical components, as I see a starter going in the near future. FIX IT! I wonder if they sent our dealerships some pixie dust and a magic wand to install the second PCM.

Honestly, as much as i'd like to think you could "lemon law" it, after researching, I doubt it would ever hold up. Locking at other peoples cases, since the car runs, and eventually starts, the courts would say it's an annoyance, but not a lemon, as eventually it does run. It is four times...
