Re: Heads WILL roll!!! (kayakjim)

I stopped by the body shop this afternoon after I got off work to get my estimate. It will cost $614.30 and they have to keep the car for two days. I thought it would cost more than that. At least it's not coming out of my pocket.Rather than mess around with having my wife drop me off at work for tw...

Re: (K-NINE)

I kayak a lot, but can't seem to ever get the money stashed away long enough to buy my own. I have two daughters in college and another daughter that's a junior in high school - so as you can imagine, a kayak of my own is still a dream. As for how to transport, I've thought about the various roof rac...

Re: Towing with Vibe (vibecrxsi240sxse)

That's a cool popup. I see that it's a Fleetwood, but can you provide a model or a website to check it out? I have a 2005 Vibe, automatic, AWD - wondering how it would do pulling a popup such as yours?

Heads WILL roll!!!

It's been a crappy day. I stayed late at work to get some things finished. I make my way out to the parking lot and decide to get my 2005 Vibe washed before heading home. With the evening sun at an angle, I see how bad my windows are streaked inside, so once I get home, I grab the Windex and start cl...

Re: Unplugged wire near oil filter (joatmon)

I believe that's it... thanks for the information. The guy who changed the oil tells me that he assumes they didn't unplug it at the last visit, and I can't say for certain they did, but I figured it needed to be hooked back up rather than flappin' in the breeze.Appreciate your help!Jim

Unplugged wire near oil filter

Had my oil changed this afternoon and the guy that runs the shop asks me to come over to the car. I'm sweatin' thinking they either found a problem or he's going to show me this scratch or something. Instead, he has me look down into the front portion of the engine and shows me a wire that had come ...

Re: Roof racks (vibe-anator)

I had asked the same question awhile back about x-bars for the 05. Seems like a no-brainer to add them in the package, but after reading the forum posts and seeing tons on Vibes on the road while I was on vacation last week, it seems that buying from Thule or Yakima is the best option.I just spent a...

Re: Roof Rack Bars (jeffgtx)

Jeff,Thanks, but after reading this forum and talking with a couple people, I think I'll go ahead and buy a Yakima set up. I really wish I would have done this sooner, but hopefully I won't blow all my money on vacation. Thanks everyone for the info.

Roof Rack Bars

I just bought an 05 Vibe and would like to purchase the crossbars that, in my opinion, should have been included with the car. I emailed a local dealer to inquire as to their availablity in stock. I was told they are $140.48 each.I know they are discounted if purchased through http://www.gmpartsdire...
